Welcome to the official website of the International Airport Development Company Limited (IADCL). The IADCL is a private limited liability company wholly owned by the government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It was incorporated under the Companies Act of St Vincent and the Grenadines.
The company's mandate is to spearhead and coordinate all matters relating to the financing and construction of the Argyle International Airport and arranging for the effective management of the airport on its completion. Work on the Argyle International Airport began shortly after the Honourable Prime Minister Dr. Ralph E. Gonsalves's historic speech on August 8th, 2005. In that speech, the Prime Minister sets out the government's commitment to the airport project and how the project is to be financed.

Local support for the construction of the Argyle International Airport continues to grow as the project moves towards completion stage.
This support was again brought to the fore with the staging on Sunday May 19th of a cultural extravaganza which took place at the airport’s site.
Work on the Argyle International Airport is moving ahead quite steadily with more than 86 percent of the earthworks completed.
Work in this area is currently concentrated in the 1st and 2nd kilometers of the site in the areas of Fort Hill, just below Colonel Anderson hill and the Eastern end in the vicinity of the IADC’s offices.
The area just below Colonel Anderson’s hill which previously housed the IADC’s workshop has been removed to allow the earthworks in this area to move ahead. Excavation, transportation and compaction of soil are some of the main activities being undertaken.
